Key Ingredients

Hops: (Humulus Lupulus) The extract of the hop plant’s fruit provides an anti-inflammatory effect while its phytohormones promote blood flow and can enhance your skin tone. Hops can moisturize the skin while reducing redness and soothing itchiness. The hop extract is derived from the pinecone-like fruit of the hop plant, which was originally cultivated in China before marching west across Europe, Asia and North America.

Chamomile: (Matricaria Chamomilla) A natural antiseptic which offers many benefits to your skin. As well as soothing irritated skin and treating conditions such as allergies, psoriasis and eczema. Chamomile is a natural source of bisabolol which can encourage skin regeneration and promote healing. Chamomile has been cherished for its healing qualities since the Egyptians dedicated it to their gods for being a cure for acute fever.

Dead Sea Salt: Two thousand years ago Flavius wrote about the healing qualities of the Dead Sea salts, and today we continue to rely on these rich salts to promote healing. Bathing in high quality sea salt can replenish the minerals which are critical to our skin metabolism. Calcium can help to prevent water retention, increase circulation and strengthen bones and nails. Potassium energizes the body, while helping to balance out skin moisture and replenish the body following exercise. Bromides ease muscle stiffness and relax muscles. Magnesium fights stress and fluid retention, while reducing the signs of aging and soothing the nervous system. Sodium supports the lymphatic fluid balance. By promoting cell regeneration, the salts can renew and rejuvenate your skin, while also reducing cellulite, slowing skin ageing and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dead Sea Salts can simultaneously moisturize, detoxify and soften the skin, while helping to treat conditions including acne, dandruff, dermatitis, eczema and scabies. The salts are also treasured for their ability to reduce stress, relax muscles and eliminate toxins.

Fennel: (Foeniculum vulgare) With its natural antiseptic and astringent properties, fennel oil is ideal for oily and mature skin. Fennel oil is an effective toner and cleanser, so it can be used to correct oily skin and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It boosts circulation to the skin’s surface, which can limit the effects of water retention. Native to the Mediterranean, fennel was popular in ancient times and was cultivated by the Romans for its delicious fruits and succulent shoots.

Honey: (Honey) This natural moisturizer also contains powerful antioxidants which fight free radicals and reduce the effects of ageing on your skin. Produced by honey bees, honey is also antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral, so it can help fight infections and promote skin healing, while smoothing dry and rough skin. Rich in minerals, vitamins and amino acids, honey has long been a favorite ingredient in beauty treatments, since the ancient Egyptians first enjoyed its many benefits. The monosaccharides, fructose, glucose and amino acid in honey make it a powerful moisturiser.

Mint: (Mentha) Tackles dry skin, acne and inflammation. Mint has hundreds of uses – from medical applications to skin care and dental treatments. Mint makes an excellent moisturizer and can be helpful at restoring the moisture which is stripped away by acne treatments, leaving your skin bright and hydrated. The ancient Egyptians and Romans valued the unmistakable aroma of mint, while people in the Middle Ages used mint as a cleanser.

Mistletoe: (Viscum album) This powerful antioxidant has long been revered by the people of Europe, with a history intertwined with magic, mystery and legend. Considered sacred by the Celtic Druids, mistletoe was believed to give life and enhance fertility (not to mention its aphrodisiac qualities). Mistletoe was also used to defend against poisons, while today we value its moisturizing properties and ability to improve skin tone.

Yarrow: (Achillea Millefolium) Rich in antioxidants and prized for its antimicrobial and healing qualities. Yarrow contains flavonoids, tannins, asparagin, sterols, isovaleric acid and salicyclic acid among other elements. Its natural fatty acids can boost cell membrane production, integrity and performance. In addition to treating acne and oily skin, Yarrow is beneficial for people with irritated and dry skin. Native to the northern hemisphere, yarrow has a storied history as a medicinal herb to treat a variety of skin conditions.
