Key Ingredients

Centella Asiatica: (Centella Asiatica ) This powerful antioxidant stimulates the production of collagen, and is also a highly effective regenerative agent. Centella Asiatica is native to India, as well as many parts of Asia. It is used as a medicine in Indian Ayurvedic medicine, as well as the traditional medicines of Africa and China to heal wounds and scars. Hydrocotyl is an antioxidant which stimulates the production of catalase, an antioxidant with beneficial anti-aging properties. We use both Asiaticoside and Madecassoside molecules which can both soothe the skin and stimulate collagen production.

Dead Sea Mud: Hydrates and moistures your skin while fine mud granules can slough away dead skin cells to reveal fresh, glowing skin beneath. By tightening your skin, Dead Sea Mud can also reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dead Sea Mud also helps to boost cell metabolism, which in turn helps your body receive the benefits of our minerals and nutrients.

Ginger: (Zingiber Officinale) This invigorating and stimulating root provides a wealth of benefits. Ginger can be used to improve your skin’s elasticity, helping it to stay firm and youthful, while the root’s antioxidant effects can combat free radicals to improve your skin’s health. Ginger has been used in home remedies to treat a wide variety of conditions, including burns and scars. Ginger also helps to stimulate your skin while detoxifying it and reducing the appearance of cellulite. Ginger is also antibacterial and antiviral which can reduce inflammation and blemishes. Ginger cultivation began in South Asia, though it soon spread across the world.

Guarana: (Paullina Cupana) Native to South America, guarana is naturally high in caffeine. Guarana extract is believed to target cellulite because of its theophylline and caffeine content. As a vasoconstrictor, caffeine can reduce puffiness and promote smoothing. Guarana increases blood flow and the lipolytic effect, which means it can block enzymes and reduce the breakage of triglycerides.

Horsetail: (Equisetum Arvense) Packed with silica, this herb encourages connective tissue to grow, strengthen and remain elastic, which in turn can give you firmer and tighter skin. As a powerful astringent and anti-inflammatory agent horsetail can treat wounds and burns while reducing the effects of eczema and acne. The horsetail plant is the only surviving member of the class Equisetopsida, making it a living fossil.

What is Clean Beauty?

With words such as green, natural and organic we are often misled into thinking a product is ‘clean’ without checking the label. Clean beauty means that a product is safe, non-toxic, and has transparent labeling of ingredients. Just because a product is green/natural/organic it doesn’t mean it is clean. Clean Beauty, at its core, is a product that is safe to use with no harmful ingredients (to reiterate: not chemicals, but ingredients!).

Small Batch production

Small batch production has taken off in the last 2-3 years with local businesses taking the lead. From decor and beauty to food brands, we are seeing a huge shift in expectation from consumers as well as brands leading the process. Conscious consumers are moving away from mass-produced, large-scale beauty products to sustainable and eco-friendly makeup brands that operate along ethical lines. A renewed focus on zero-waste makeup is also part of this planet- and people-conscious movement.
