HAVU chin bar is a multifunctional tool for toning and strengthening upper body muscles. When set up on a door frame, it can be used for chin-ups and pull-ups. On the floor HAVU can be used for dips, push-ups, ab exercises and even back stretches.

Details

HAVU chin bar doesn’t have to be permanently installed on the door frame, so it can be used for both of its functions whenever needed. This also means it won’t damage the door frames and it won’t be in the way when closing the door. The ends of the stainless steel bar are also covered with natural rubber sleeves to protect the door frame and walls next to it.

Details

The frame of the chin bar is made of sustainably sourced birch plywood. It contains 3 slots for the stainless steel bar so the chin bar can be adjusted for most wall thicknesses (9–18 cm). The chin bar is suitable for door frames that are between 60–93 cm in width.

The carved neutral-grip handles have a diameter of 30 mm for comfort. For more detailed information and measurements check out “Additional information”.

HAVU chin bars are designed and made in Finland. They are designed to support an active lifestyle without compromising on design or sustainable values.

Use the HAVU chin bar only on door frames where the top door trim is either on top of the vertical trims or where the frames are miter cut. Do not use the chin bar on door frames where the top door trim is between the vertical trims unless you can be sure that the horizontal trim is safely secured, and its load capacity has been checked. You can find instructions for mounting, assembly, and safe use of the chin bar from the user manual. Download it here!

Buying Handmade

For small-scale, home decor artisans, their brands are their livelihoods and it reflects in the care that they take to hone their craft and produce something of real value. When given a choice between something that has been churned out by a machine in a factory and something that was beautifully crafted in someone’s garage, more consumers are opting for the latter. Every choice we make with regards to how we exercise our buying power, makes a difference.

Detoxify Your Life

The link between physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is becoming clearer. With the move to cleaner living and mindfulness, we’ve seen a pivot towards a detox movement that affects all categories of life. Detoxing takes many forms from eating healthier, and meditating, to uncluttering your space and choosing house decor items that stimulate good moods.
