Benefits

Use before applying moisturiser and make-up in the mornings or apply after cleansing and toning at night.

*Shake well before use! Contains Macadamia Nut Oil*

Coconut Oil: coconut oil not only helps to reduce signs of ageing, but it’s also great for strengthening the epidermis against redness, marks, and eliminating keratosis pilaris. Coconut Oil is full of anti-oxidant vitamin E and is also comprised mainly of medium-chain triglyceride lauric acid, known to be one of the healthiest oils for your skin and body.

Macadamia Nut Oil: Squalene is a naturally occurring antioxidant in our body. It is also found in macadamia nut oil, so it has a strong impact on our skin. It helps reduce oxidative stress on the body’s fats and the skin, helping to prevent wrinkles, age spots, slow healing rates, and other signs of ageing.

Neroli Oil: Aside from the anti-microbial properties, neroli also has anti-ageing effects. It can soften the appearance of wrinkles and scars making your skin look younger, smoother and firmer. It can also help to make pores look smaller, cleaner and unclogged. Neroli also balances oil on your skin which can improve the appearance of your overall complexion.

Rosehip Oil: Rosehip is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which are integral for tissue and cell regeneration in the skin. It’s no wonder that the oil has long been used as a folk remedy for wound healing, as well as the reduction of scars and fine lines.

Jojoba Oil: The only oil that closely resembles human sebum – an oily substance naturally produced by the oil glands below the skin surface, so its uses and benefits to the skin and hair are very high. Jojoba oil not only firm-up and keep your skin hydrated, but also useful in lessening the appearance of skin wrinkles. It is packed with vitamin E, which is effective in getting rid of free radicals that are responsible for ageing of the skin.

What is Clean Beauty?

With words such as green, natural and organic we are often misled into thinking a product is ‘clean’ without checking the label. Clean beauty means that a product is safe, non-toxic, and has transparent labeling of ingredients. Just because a product is green/natural/organic it doesn’t mean it is clean. Clean Beauty, at its core, is a product that is safe to use with no harmful ingredients (to reiterate: not chemicals, but ingredients!).

Small Batch production

Small batch production has taken off in the last 2-3 years with local businesses taking the lead. From decor and beauty to food brands, we are seeing a huge shift in expectation from consumers as well as brands leading the process. Conscious consumers are moving away from mass-produced, large-scale beauty products to sustainable and eco-friendly makeup brands that operate along ethical lines. A renewed focus on zero-waste makeup is also part of this planet- and people-conscious movement.
