Formulated using 23 natural oils from all over the globe, our founder Tiffany searched high and low to hunt down the very best Mother Nature has to offer, making sure this oil benefits the skin and the mind.

We’re proud of every single drop, but here’s a few of our fave ingredients in the Dawn Elixir and the amazing places we sourced them from:

  • Rosehip Seed Oil: wild harvested in Lesotho, Turkey and pressed by a local business, it’s chocked full of Vitamin A and Vitamin C, which helps skin look fresh and youthful.
  • Moringa Seed Oil: grown in Uganda by a co-op of small-scale farmers, Moringa Seed Oil is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin E and nourishing omegas to really make your skin glow.
  • Virgin Baobab Oil: wild harvested by communities living on the coast of Kenya, Baobab oil is luxuriously skin nourishing and anti-ageing and hydrating.
  • Ginger Oil: grown in Tanzania by small scale farmers and distilled in Kenya, Ginger oil can help soothe redness and give radiance to dull complexions. Plus, it's known for its ability to stimulate and energise the senses - yes please!

What is Clean Beauty?

With words such as green, natural and organic we are often misled into thinking a product is ‘clean’ without checking the label. Clean beauty means that a product is safe, non-toxic, and has transparent labeling of ingredients. Just because a product is green/natural/organic it doesn’t mean it is clean. Clean Beauty, at its core, is a product that is safe to use with no harmful ingredients (to reiterate: not chemicals, but ingredients!).

Small Batch production

Small batch production has taken off in the last 2-3 years with local businesses taking the lead. From decor and beauty to food brands, we are seeing a huge shift in expectation from consumers as well as brands leading the process. Conscious consumers are moving away from mass-produced, large-scale beauty products to sustainable and eco-friendly makeup brands that operate along ethical lines. A renewed focus on zero-waste makeup is also part of this planet- and people-conscious movement.
