our debut five-pocket denim shape is precision cut in non-stretch 10oz cotton to sit on the true waist with a sharp straight leg. with a 4cm depth waistband and a 18cm button through fly-stand these jeans are a nod to 70’s ‘rockers’ styling. deep opening riveted front pockets are complemented with deep, pointed back patch-pockets - one with a single shank button. topstitching is executed in a deep tobacco coloured recycled cotton-blend threads, notable at the 3cm hem turnback. hardware is matte silver finish thanks to water-saving non-polish finish and the recycle brand patch is positioned at the right back, carrying our house colours of burnt-sienna on travertine cream.

this style works as full length, turned-up or even cropped to shoe-skimming length. you can see these variations featured across different styles though out the collection.

all jeans are delivered with a. spool of deep tobacco recycled thread. this allows you to customise your leg to the desired length, knowing you’ll have the correct colour thread for your tailor.

beauty

What is Clean Beauty?

With words such as green, natural and organic we are often misled into thinking a product is ‘clean’ without checking the label. Clean beauty means that a product is safe, non-toxic, and has transparent labeling of ingredients. Just because a product is green/natural/organic it doesn’t mean it is clean. Clean Beauty, at its core, is a product that is safe to use with no harmful ingredients (to reiterate: not chemicals, but ingredients!).

Small Batch production

Small batch production has taken off in the last 2-3 years with local businesses taking the lead. From decor and beauty to food brands, we are seeing a huge shift in expectation from consumers as well as brands leading the process. Conscious consumers are moving away from mass-produced, large-scale beauty products to sustainable and eco-friendly makeup brands that operate along ethical lines. A renewed focus on zero-waste makeup is also part of this planet- and people-conscious movement.
